Illinois Residential Roof Repairs
Rose Roofing & Sheet Metal provides expert residential roof repair service for challenging circumstances
Proper repair work requires proper compatible materials that fit your roofing system's needs. We repair Built-Up-Roofing (BUR) with proper felts, flashings, and asphalts. Modified bitumen roofing recieves repairs of modified bitumen low slope membranes. PVC roofing gets repaired with PVC roofing membranes. EPDM (rubber roofing) gets repaired with EPDM roofing membranes.
Metal (copper, steel, aluminum, and others) are all repaired with compatible materials in order to eliminate the process of electrolosys, in which dissimilar metals coupled with water runoff will corrode the less noble of the two metals, resulting in roof failure.
When we agree to work on your facility, we do so with the uderstanding that our work will be warranted for a one-year minimum against leakage and workmanship defect. If your roofing is not repariable, we will not attempt to tell you otherwise. Our reputation is important to us, and so is your trust.
Once again, system-specific materials are used, and we have an in-house rule against "GOOPING". "Gooping" is the practice of many so-called roofing contractors that, instead of completing proper repair work with system-specific materials, they will slap down some form of roofing cement or tar-like substance and make a mess of the roofing as well as a short-term leak stop. This is not considered by roofing professionals to be proper repair work.
